From 1 May 2025 🐰 Octotel’s home fibre pricing and options are changing – that means our packages will change too. The price change on 1 May 2025 is 14 months after Octotel’s last price change.

Notable changes 🚀
- Octotel is changing 2 package speeds:
- * 75/75 Mbps: Octotel are discontinuing the 75/75 Mbps so we will be upgrading customers to the 100/100 Mbps as of 1 May 2025. It might take Octotel some time to complete the upgrades.
- ** 400/200 Mbps upgrade: Octotel will begin migrating customers on the 400/200 Mbps to 500/200 Mbps as of 1 May 2025. It might take Octotel some time to complete the upgrades.
- Fibre speed upgrades and router/WiFi speeds
- Please note that new Fibre speeds will not change maximum WiFi speeds:
- 2.4Ghz WiFi 5 = up to 40Mbps
- 5GHz WiFi 5 = up to 260Mbps
- 5GHz WiFi 6 = up to 400Mbps
- Please note that if your router only has 100Mbps ethernet ports, your maximum speeds will not be able to exceed that.

Important Dates 📅
Below is a list of important dates for the changes.
27 February 2025: Octotel informs Atomic of price changes
March 2025: Atomic loads blog post with new pricing
On or before 1 April: Atomic informs customers of price changes via email
24 April 2025: Invoice with new price is generated and send to customers.
24 April 2025: Last opportunity to upgrade/downgrade before May.
1 May 2025: New Octotel packages commence.
No Action Required 😴
No action is required from Atomic customers, but if you wish to upgrade or downgrade, please complete our Change Request form before 14h00 on the 24th of April 2025. You will need your Atomic service ID when completing this form. You can find this on your invoice, it starts with ‘AAA-’ and is next to “Account ID”.
