Keep your stream rock-solid with the Atomic RTMP Ingest Relay – a free service for Atomic customers. We currently only support Twitch, but we can add more relays on request. An RTMP relay can handle Twitch, Youtube, Kick, D-Live, Vimeo, etc.

💡 Why use the relay? #

Streaming directly to Twitch can result in dropped connections or bitrate instability – even on fast internet lines. That’s because Twitch ingest servers are far away (international latency) and fibre networks can have packet loss and latency fluctuations. Our relay helps stabilise this by acting as a buffer with low latency between you and the relay.

• Reduces disconnects and bitrate drops
• Minimises latency for RTMP (real-time media) traffic
• Keep your global audience happy with a consistent bitrate stream

1. In your preferred capture application go to your settings and select Custom Streaming Server
2. Under URL use one of the URLs above
3. The ‘Stream Key’ is your Twitch Stream Key found here
